Resources for Italian universities

The Fulbright Universitas Program promotes the mobility of Italian and U.S. lecturers and researchers thereby contributing to the process of internationalization.

Italian universities can:

• Invite US Fulbright lecturers and researchers who are in Italy and in Europe to take part in academic meetings, conferences, seminars and other program-related activities organized by Italian or European universities (Fulbright Inter-country Program).
• Institute Fulbright Distinguished Chairs designed for eminent US scholars with large experience and publications in their respective fields. (Fulbright Distinguished Chairs Program).
• Invite US scholars to lecture and/or conduct research at Italian institutions in a wide variety of academic disciplines (US Scholar Program).
• Request US specialists for short periods (2-6 weeks) to assist in curriculum development or to give seminars (Fulbright Senior Specialist Program).
