Inter-country Program
The Inter-country grant program offers significant flexibility to the Fulbright Program. The Program makes it possible to bring Fulbright lecturers and researchers in Italy or Europe to take part in academic meetings, conferences, seminars and other program-related activities organized by Italian or European universities.
The Inter-country program, administered in collaboration with Fulbright Commissions in Europe, finances travel expenses of the Fulbright researcher or lecturer from the city in Italy or in Europe where he/she is carrying out his/her Fulbright project to the site of the host institution.
Italian universities interested in inviting Fulbright scholars should send their request to the US- Italy Fulbright Commission, to the attention of Executive Director Maria Grazia Quieti (Mariagrazia.quieti@fulbright.it). The request should be accompanied by the event program.
The US-Italy Fulbright Commission is responsible for making arrangements for inter-country exchanges. These exchanges should not interfere with the effective accomplishment of the grantee’s original project.
Please refer to the U S Fulbright Scholar Directory on CIES (Council for International Exchange of Scholars) website, for detailed information about U S Fulbright scholars for the academic year 2011/12.
